Nashik is known for grapes, onions and agro-processing, and its MIDC estates also host pharmaceutical and engineering units. Sterial Machinery supplies vibro sifters in Nashik from Ahmedabad, about 480 km by road via south Gujarat.
Nashik Industrial Areas
- Satpur MIDC – engineering, pharma and process industries.
- Ambad MIDC – engineering and food.
- Sinnar and Malegaon MIDC – mixed industry including food and pharma.
- Dindori and Igatpuri – food, beverage and agro-processing.
Agro and Food Processing
Dehydrated onion and garlic powder, spices and flour are typical Nashik products that need sifting before packing. A food grade vibro sifter grades powder fineness, while a double & triple deck vibro sifter can separate flakes, granules and powder in one pass – useful for dehydrated vegetable producers who sell several grades.
Pharmaceutical Units
Formulation plants in the Nashik region use pharmaceutical vibro sifter machines for dispensing, granule sifting and lubrication steps.
Fertilizer and Agri-Inputs
Agricultural districts around Nashik also have micronutrient and fertilizer blending units. See fertilizer & pesticide industry.
